Does anyone know where can I get the .prc file so that I can use my P800 with Clie NZ-90??

whats a .prc file? What are you trying to achieve?
Sorry if this is obvious to a clié user but I have not heard of this before...

a prc file is a typical palm OS file. Such file for P800 is required by Clie NZ-80 in order to establish a bluetooth connection with the P800.

Huh? Sorry, but isn't a .prc file an eBook? Isn't that the file extension for Mobipocket Reader's app?
And why do you need a file to connect via BT? Just pair the 2 devices. Nothing else is needed.
What are you trying to do with the 2 devices anyway that you need that file? |

Thanks for your replies, so far.
I can pair P800 with NZ-90 via bluetooth without problems. All programs run fine, except SMS where I need to set up the phone in Prefs. I used to have a T68i and for this model I had the .prc file required by Clie. Without being able to configure P800 in Clie unit, SMS program is not working.

but the P800 and clię are both realy just PDA's and why are u even trying to move sms to p800? why not just use infra red?

Oh, then I think you're out of luck... so far, there's no way to send SMS through the P800, except from the phone itself. PC users are still waiting for a desktop SMS app as well. |

Anyone looking to use the CLIE with your P800. Using the CLIE to dial out for you . Use .PRC file for the T68i. and it works fine. there is also a software app to DL from the CLIE support site |
