really!! Damn they aren't mucking about are they?!
So do you know whether their plan is to introduce it as a new phone then phase out all the T68m's or just replenish T68 stock with the T68i? |

My belief is that the T68i will be here in 2 weeks. T68m has ceased production and is already in excess demand. T68m stocks i believe would have dried up within 2 weeks in most stores and distributors.
We would therefore not have a T68m price drop as this is an imediate phase.
But second hand prices should fall sharply within 2 month of the T68i's arrival as the consumers widely are informed about the phone and demand for the T68m second hand is reduced. But there will be no T68i second hand for a while i would say 6 weeks for anything significant, so second hand T68m should not fall so much until april/may. |

yeah apparently vodaphone and ericsson have got some big deal in which Voda will get it first I read it somewhere. I'm sure if yout type "vodaphone +mms +ericsson +t68" into yahoo you'll find the story I mean |

Who is vodafone? Voda retail or voda network?
Vodafone has a retail channel and network. When you buy a vodafone contract with a mobile, the mobile is only sourced from voda if you bought the phone from voda retial. The same goes for Btcellnet. One2one and orange's phones all are sources via their respective networks! |

Having looked at the large photos of the T68i and played with the interactive shockwave phone, I must say that unless the internal hardware is significantly better than the T68, I much prefer the look of the T68. From other dicussions regarding a new case, It will probably be possible to get a T68i case and replace the T68 one if you like it.

Yup! But doesn't matter I don't think anyone should be upset.. Like what you like and buy what you like! But I wouldn't sell a T68m for a T68i that would be a waste of money.
Anyways I think the board needs to stop the biased opens of which is better looking cuz soon there will be new T68i owners coming here for information and will be turned down by the attitude here towards the T68i. =)
Sharing opinions is fine.. If you have the one you like good, just don't step all over the other ones..
Enough said.. |

This is interesting. Orange are still waiting for SE to deliver their custom T68s for them to give out to resellers (Orange shops and online retail sell flashed T68s rather than fully customised\locked\badged), and if the T68m has ceased production, where does that leave those of us who ordered T68m phones from Orange and are still waiting? Do we get a badged T68i? Were the badged T68m phones made before production ceased? Has this whole thing been a cock-up? (Yes.) |

To be honest. I think the design on the T68i owns, pretty and "cool" design. Should have had the rubber-battery though. |
