How many got scratches in their Screen caused by the Pen? |

Since I bought my P800 I have got more and more scratches in the screen from the pen, specifically in the lower area of the screen (where I write the most) this has started to annoy me, since in my opinion the pen should NOT cause scratches to the screen! I use my pen to write alot on the screen and almost never use the virtual keyboard or the flip. So now whenever I write on the "scratch-area" I can feel the scratches and also a "scratchy" sound
I know you will recommend a screen-protector, but I dont really think that should be necessary, the pen should NOT make scratches!! It is as simple as that!
I just want to hear with you guys if there are alot like me who has experienced this, cause if it is.. I really think we should be entitled a free screen replacement!
what do you think??

Yes ...i have had my P800 for about 2 weeks now and have just recently noticed that there are quite a number of small scratches on my screen. Although you cannot see them when looking directly at the P800 while its on if you tilt the P800 and look at the screen with an angle, i am able to see quite a few of them. It is disapointing but at the same time the small scratches are not noticable unless you are really looking for them. I have bought a pen/stylus that i use rather than the small very thin one SE provides because i find it easier to write with and hold. Although, i am quite lucky, i am already in the process of exchanging my current P800 for a new one due to the fact that there are a few white spots located under the glass that cannot be removed with a cloth or anything and SE agreed that since i only had it for about a week they would exchange it for me for free. So in the mean time i have alread purchased a case for the P800 and am planning on purchasing some Brando Screen Protectors for it as well, so when i get my new P800 i can start over again from scratch. (no pun intended lol)

Brando customer here too!
When using my stylus I can almost hear it scratch the protector, but, who cares the screen stays virgin.

I also use a Brando from day one but after reading a message on this site about sharp corners on the stylus I took very fine wet & dry paper and smoothed the tip to a round shape (the guy who started the original message rounded the tip using a flame to partially melt the plastic).
Having used a stylus with iPAQ & PSION PDA's I found the P800 sylus to be sharp before doing the rounding.
Once had a PSION stylus with a flaw in the moulded end which caused a scratch on the PSION.
Would recommend rounding the point but deffinelty use a Brando protector.
PS
Brando protector sometimes looks like it has been scratched but when cleaning with a cloth it looks perfect again.

Well, I got this area on my phone that is.. well, very scratchy, it looks like a big smudge-stain, but it is actually just a bunch of small scratches.
I`m just curious if I should try to have my screen replaced on the warranty |

The fact that a Brando is an absolute necessity continues to be proven. I put mine on yesterday and no longer have to keep it in the case. I don't use the flip.

Somewhere in this forum someone wrote that he/she made the point of the stylus round by putting it in a flame for a short period and letting it facing down. This way it became perfectly round and solved his/her problem. I didn't test it for myself because I use a screenprotector, but it is worth it to try.
