I just am so anxious to get the T610. I currently have a T68i on 1900mhz with latest firmware. I have heard that in the US it will be called the T616. When is this comming out and will I be able to just stick my sim card from T68i into the T616 and it will work or do I have to wait until ATT supports the phone and then get it. I have heard that the T616 will not support 1900mhz and thats what my T68i is on.Will it matter or do I have to get a new contract that supports a 850mhz.As I have heard this is what the US is switching to. |

T610 supports 900/1800/1900 Mhz.
T616 supports 850/1800/1900 Mhz.
So you will be fine with T616 although T610 will do the job as well in the big cities.
Now waiting for AT&T to sell this phone is up to you. For sure it is going to be locked so you will have to unlock it. |

well it will work, some features, but forget about SMS outside of us, forget about MMS outside of ATT, etc....
