Why am I getting this
Error 403 Forbidden Message?
Some html pages are restricted so that only local ANL users may view them. You may experience the Error 403Forbidden message, when:
*Your computer's nodename reflects adomain other than anl.gov
*Your computer's IP address resides in the anl.gov domain but it has not yet been registered to ANL Domain NameService.
*(We have also noticed thatnodenames that begin with numbers(eg, 123name.div.anl.gov) are not allowed access to restricted pages even when the nodename is properly registered.)
Server recognizes you as:
216.239.39.5
216.239.39.5
Host Not Registered
Unable to verify remote address Contact your network administrator toregister your IP address with Domain Name Service Local workstations that are not registered will not be able to access locally restricted pages until hostmaster@anl.gov receives an e-mail request to register the pair:
*IP address (eg nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn)
*nodename (eg nodename.div.anl.gov)
Contact the network administrator in your division to coordinate registering IPaddresses for your division.
