Yes, it will work if you have the MMS software installed on your T68.

This is official information from SonyEricsson. And the T68 will be just like the T68i after the MMS software upgrade.

I don't wanna sound dumb or ignorant but the T68m after the final SW upgrades will perform exactly like the T68i? I had questions about that since the T68i seems like it has more memory....is that true?

We already know that the t68i has more memory modules, hence more ringtones, more pictures, more this, more that.

so our t68 isn't going to be exactly like the t68i, it could probably do similar things, but probably won't support most of em.

But do we really know for sure about the memory part??
Has anyone heard that from or just read it here or somewhere else on te web??

I think its most likely that they are exactly the same, just new cover but the same HW platform.

Well, that's what it says on the site. That it has more ringtones, more this, more that.

But you never know, after the SW upgrade, the T68 might be able to perform just as well as the T68i.

But I'm not sure, could they just be repackaging the whole thing, changing the name and the color?

I mean, could they possibly fit in more things such as memory so fast after the T68?

U can receive pic msgs only via SMS but u won't be able to forward them. Via IR u can only receive a contact info. Ringtones can't be received at all becos phones use different formats.

Plz can u give us the site's URL where it says it has more memory! I don't think there's any. And as i read in the forum that it has the same memory (someone who got the upgrade told us that)

MCA-20 DETAILS.....Sony Ericcson said the T68i will act as viewfinder for the camera, which can store 14 full VGA (640 by 480 pixels) pictures, or up to 200 pictures in the QVGA (160 by 160) format made popular by Palm devices. Pictures taken on the camera can be used as background pictures on the phone, said Sony Ericsson, and can be associated with phone numbers - so that the next time someone calls, the phone will display their picture.

If my information is correct, a white paper to the FCC from SE said that the only differencies was just the cover and some module for charging the battery. If that's true, the T68i has to have the same hardware as the T68m. I doubt that SE would keep a thing like a new memory module hidden from the FCC. They have to report every change that have been made if they want it approved.

Does someone one know where I can find that White Paper again? It was posted here about a week ago.

This info has nothing to do with the MCA-20,you are talking about the T68i right??Anyway here is that white paper link you asked for... http://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/forms/blobs/retrieve.cgi?attachment_id=184058&native_or_pdf=pdf
