Called Tmobile customer services asking for my PAC number on Saturday and explained that I wanted a P800 and was willing to switch networks to do so. They informed me that the P800 is on limited release on their network now in a few of their official tmobile shops and they should be fully in stock in 2 - 4 weeks.

They are calling me back in a fortnight to confirm this, and as I'm a high tariff user they have offered me the phone for a £79.99 upgrade fee )

Can anyone confirm this or are the Tmobile reps talking hot air??

Do you really need to be with T-Mobile ?
Why not port your number to Orange and get a P800 for £25 on Your plan 400 (£50 per month) from www.advancedmobiles.co.uk.
Thats what I did.

I'm almost willing to bet T-mobile in the US will Never get the P800. If they do it will be next year, at least where I live. They still haven't got the Nokia 7210, they swore to me they were getting it this month (March) oh well big suprise.

@ianbycroft

Orange has poor service coverage in my area, plus they were the network I had major hassle with my last PAC number change. Any repeat of that frankly isnt worth the 50 or 60 quid I would save switching over..
