Hi there

Im having real problems with my t68i

basically on my old phone (nokia 8210) I coped to contacts to the SIM card then copied them back on my t68i

Most have gone across fine but some are totally corrupt.

For example:

I recieve a text message, the phone matches this from a number somewhere on the phone and returns the name 'STE' which is right, as his number should be in my address book.

when I go to phone book->manage contacts I can scroll down
through the list of contacts stored on the phone alphabetically.

The problem is STE doesnt exist in this but, there are other 'S' entries, then a blank space, then contacts starting with T. In other words there is basically a BLANK contact where ste should be.

This has happened with a few other contacts, there is no pattern either to which ones have corrupted.

Why dont I just delete and re-add the contact you say? Well I cant thats the problem

When I go to delete contact, then highlight the blank entries I just get failed.

So just to summarise ive got corrupted entries which can be half seen, as text indentifies the number from somewhere, plus when they call me I see them as STE for example, yet I cant call them as contact as they dont exist!!

What has gone on here and how can I correct it ?
