P800 Individual backup of Contacts & Agenda files! Anybody interested |

Unless someone knows otherwise, you have to do a full backup of your phone using the P800 suite which switches the phone Off to do the backup.
Using the PC File Manager software, you can copy whole folders to your PC but permanently open files such as contacts & agenda do to get copied.
I have found a way to copy, delete & re-paste these individual files.
So, if you wanted to do a complete hard reset of your P800 to install applications from scratch, there is a way to get all your contacts & agenda file back (re-syncing with Outlook looses Folders/Catagories info).

I'm intersted in your way.. please detail it. ALSO, for some reason, on my desktop, in the icon on the bottom right of the screen... the option for backup/restore is always greyed out. Eventhough I can synch, set synch properties. Any ideas? | |
