I heard that the t610 screen is STN... Is it similar to the Nokia 7210? Are there images ghosting when you use menu or play games?

AFAIK, the T610 has a TFT, not an STN, screen. |

T610 has STN screen for sure....otherwise it won't have such comparable battery life as T68i as they claimed !

According to Howard Chui's video review, menu is very fast and no ghosting.........here is the site:

Do you guys know that poly ring is also much louder on the T610?
I tested it in a crowded and loud convention centre and the rings are pretty "hearable". |

Yes, the polyphonic ringone on T610 is louder than nokia as said by Eldar !!

The screen is much better in menus and in games concerning "ghosting". When playing for instance Synergenix Rally, there is alomost no "motion blur" effect

nokia 7210/50= STN 4096colors.
SE T610= STN 65000colors.
the display of SE is MUCH BETTERRRRR!!!!! |

It is TFT screen and not STN. I read it from a major chinese news paper's IT page. It will be avaliable in MAY and will cost less than $800 Sing.

His is the trail version rite? Coz the thing about the TFT screen is written in yesterdays paper, which means SE maybe selling us the one with TFT screen. Hope it is TFT! |

to the guy who said it was tft...i bet u read today's zaobao...tell u what. zaobao is totally wrong, haha..im not sure where they got their sources from cos they said t610 has tft screen...and they said that t310 has 4096 colours. what they said is of course totally crap. i was misleaded by them and i went to check the sony ericsson website and they said t310 has 4096 colours and i previously knew that t610 has stn screen by some reliable source. |
