The official price of the MCA-25 is not cheaper than the MCA-20, it's in fact about USD 50 more than the MCA-20
As to why cheaper MCA-25 is available in the market, it's because they took it from the T300 package and sell it at a price slightly lower than the individual MCA-20 that u get outside. As we know the T300 + MCA-25 package bundle is relatively cheap, although the sale price the MCA-25 is at a cheaper price than the MCA-20, the total price of selling T300 and MCA-25 separately earns more profit than selling the whole package together
What's more after the release of R6A firmware upgrade for the T68i and T68mi, the MCA-25 zoom function can be used with em...so dealers will have no worries in selling the MCA-25 alone. While some buyers prefer economic price colour screen which eventually will end up buying a T300 without the cam which seems superflous and unpractical to them
