Hi, Does anyone know how to switch off the annoying warning tone that comes up when you use a network where Ciphering is switched off?? I am in Pakistan and by law the cipering is switched off in the GSM network. Everytime I make a call, I hear a loud beed and a warning sign telling me ciphering is off. |

Welcome. I did a search for you and found these.
At the end of the second post it says you can turn it off but you need to go to an SE service centre...
Anyway... have a read of some of those for more info.

Having it turned off means people with authority can monitor your calls. Ciphering scrambles your calls digitally, making it harder to listen in, as far as I understand it. |
