still don't have any idea where i can unlock my fon! If anybody knows a reliable shop in greenhills or anywhere pls. let me know. tsk tsk... so much for a tri-band. |

If u bought ur p800 at globe, i thnk they can unlock it for u but it voids the 1yr warranty

well since I'm gonna use here in the states, i really doesnt matter. I mean whats the use of having a TRIBAND right?

it seems like you are misled here by some marketing strategy that globe has....
i get your point that its a triband and it should be openlined one... you see you can purchase a handset from... like semicon which sells handsets openline. now since you bought it from globe, one of their strategies to have their costumers stick to them is to lock it, now dont blame them for that, its just a matter of marketing.
anyway i havent an idea if greenhills have made a successful unlock but i guess if globe wouldnt unlock it, thats the last resort youll have....
