I'm planning on buying P800 (£170), but can't afford a second (for the wife!), anyone know the nearest cheaper competitor? Must be triband + MS Sync - but no camara required. [addsig]

£170?!??!?! For a P800?!?!?! Where?!??!?!?!!

Anyway, tri-band & MS Sync... sounds like the T68i to me. I think the Nokia 6100 can handle sync as well..but I'm not sure.

Or you can wait for the T610.

I'll probably get slaughtered by the other guys on this forum but maybe a nokia 3650 ???? haven't tried it myself, but seems to be a cheap and good alternative...

You can get a P800 from avrmobiles for £25 - well worth it.

Why not get two from there.

The 3650 is half the price of the P800, SIM free - P800 = £500, 3650 = £280

Triband and ms sync... Just go for the t68i. 3650 is a lot of money to waste. 6100 is not triband. Or just preorder nec e808 for £224 u save half a price for a nice 3g phone, 3mos is not a long wait i think. And you can give your p800 to your wife.

Huh? Contrary to Asimo's incorrect beliefs, the 6100 is of course triband like all the nokia series 40 handsets (7210, 6610, 6100, 7250...)

What, exactly do you need? Sync with MS outlook? The T68 does that, I think. I haven't tried the calednar functions of the 3650, but I would shy away from anything which doesn't have a keyboard or other form of text entry than T9...
