Hey there,
I have my P800 on T-Mobile and my best friend has his on AT&T - does anyone know WHEN they are going to provide interconnection? I know you can do it if we both connect to NOWMMS but I want to use the ad-free and free T-Mob service.

I read on an Ericsson site that they are installing an MMS system for Verizon too - so it's about time they start working on interconnection.

Does anyone have any info on this?

Thanks!

The problem with international SMS and MMS is mostly on the recieving end because most of the numbers in use in the USA aren't in the international database and therefor they get sent but the global networks don't know where to send them. It seems that most do not have a complete listing of all the numbers, so until that's fix it's going to be hard to have reliable Int'l SMS from the US.

i have no porblem sending sms from t-mobile, anywhere in the world, usually they get it in less then 30 sec. On ATT you simply cannot send SMS it is even posted on their website. Same with MMS, only to and from othe ATT phone, i have no clue what kind of bussines policy is this, but people still use ATT, so something must work over there.

ATT does not block SMS from/to T-Mobile or Sprint. Do it all the time in Oklahoma. MMS is a different story.
