JAVA (Morphun) for the T68i - The Petition !!!! |
Hajaj Joined: Jan 15, 2003 Posts: 75 PM |
The last week I had some mail contact to the SE Softwaredevelopement-team and after many, many mails they told me that maybe with a petition they would port it to the T68i! That really wouldn't be hard for them, cause the T300 (which has it) runs on the same platform and nearly the same hardware as the T68i.
So people: Please petition!
You can petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/8520/petition.html
Maybe we will get our java (Morphun) in the next firmware-realease if we have enough people who want it.
I'd stay in contact with SE, and tell you news, if I have them!

Maybe what he meant is the morphun \"game\" platform. But if it is real JAVA then we couldn't complain, right?;-)

T300 has java (or better said Morphun (a "Java"-clone))!
I also forgot to add:
It's one of the last chances cause SE will stop to make big imporovements in the firmware of the T68i after the next release, cause they will focus their developement on the newer phones (was also told to me by SE developers).
Bring us JAVA, SE!

I don't know why they will do - but they will if we get enough people signing the petition.
Why I don't wait for another phone: Cause I like my T68i, and don't want to spend money again for a new phone!
So people: SIGN auf we will get the support! |

the t68i is old. why would you want a software upgrade?
buy a new phone and give your t68i to someone else and tell them your not giving it to them there just lending it to them.
that way if you miss it you can get it back.
i came i saw(my mum coming up the road) i cleaned up |

I want this softwareupdate, and I truley think Im not alone.
I can only recommend anyone who wants it to petition and to send the link of the petition to other T68i discussionforums so that many people will petition.
So we will get the upgrade and will all be happy |

Ok. I just signed up. But the question now is how much is enough? The number of petitioners are now close to a thousand. How much do we need? Ten thousand? I hope se would give us an idea on how many are we talking about.

caff,
what's your problem?java on t68i is a good idea.I spent a lot of money on my T68i,so java on it will be a great idea.
why should i spent another few hundred bucks on t610 if I don't want to.
