I have a problem setting mp3s as my ringtones on my P800.
Is it possible to do so? Because the mp3s do not show on the ringtone(voice) option. I only get the midis, WAV, AIFF, etc but no mp3s..
Frustrating...
Please help
I can resist everything except temptation(P800)..

Duh...shit..
so how can i make my favorite mp3 into a reasonable sized audio file and have it as a ring tone. I tried WAVs and they are HUUUUGE!.
And midis dont sound well.
Any ideas?

Convert them to WAV but lowering the sampling rate to 8~11KHZ, mono. This will reduce the size considerably and cut you song to about 20s cause anything longer the phone voice mail will kick in and take over. So anything longer is useless. |
