T68 reset with AvantGo.. workaround :) |

I had huge problems syncing Avantgo with my Palm over IR to my T68. The phone always made a reset and asked for the PIN code.
It worked quite good on my old T39. But sometimes the T39 also made a reset.
I've found a workaround though... i turned on "Use Secure Connection" in AvantGo.
You can find that otion in the Options/Server Prefernces menu. Then press the settings button and tick the Use Secure Connection button.
Since I did that I haven't had any reset of my T68 when syncing AvantGo. It syncs a little bit slower though after turning on that option. |

I have had the same problem and I even stoped to sync avantgo over GPRS..
now it seems to be working

It is a bit strange that this option fixes the problem. It makes me think that it is AvantGos fault.

doesn't avantgo use the dialup program wich is in the palm by default?
what it downloads shouldn't mather to the phone, 
I wouldn't know, my palm was stolen |

I use Pocket PC and I have exactly the same problem. So I quite sure that it is /// fault or even AvantGo fault (unlikely but possible) |
