That's weird thing..some sites tell it's TFT and some STN.
In Howard Chuis video the screen was really fast and everything looked fantastic. please someone tell us is it TFT or STN!

I don't know which technology the screen uses. But I have tried the T610 in real life, and the screen is amazing. The colours are very bright and vivid. Does it really matter which technology it uses as long as it is a good screen?

The T610 screen is just as good as the Panasonic GD87 screen. I couldn't notice any shadowing or any "fading" on the T610 when I tried it. It is really fast.

well it does matter and when i tried it the SE person at cebit sayed it was STN that is how it saves alot of energy infact i asked him why they didnt use a TFT screen? and he simply said at 65K colours and useing a active matrix STN display there is harderly any differnce only the STN screen would last alot longer from use and it would save battery
