Hi all,
I finally got my P800 but it will not start up
There is a msg sayin INSERT SIM CARD and space for entering numbers. (?)
The SIM CARD is already inserted but the P800 doesnīt think so
I have tried another Orange SIM card but I am getting the same msg.
Anyone had this problem before? Shall I send it back to Orange?
TIA

I dpn't know, but the safest way is to acctully demand a replacement, especially if you got the phone within the last few days,

Thanks,
I know I should send it back but as I have been waiting for SO long to get the bloody phone I just wanted at least to be able to try it.
I hope someone had the same problem and has a solution so I can play with it tonight

Phone Orange customer services, I suffered with a small crack in the screen when my P800 arrived on Tuesday. Phoned Orange and had my replacement sent by Courierthe next day

Thank you Bogman,
I rang Orange and they said that the best thing I can do is return the phone. I bought it from Smalltalk and they have no problem taking it back. I will send it back tomorrow morning, so is going to be 3 more days of agony waiting for my P800

I know that another 3 days wonīt kill me but it is so frustrating having such a nice phone in front of me and not being able to play with it.
Nevermind
Anyway I think the way the SIM CARD fits in the SEP800 or my old t68 is not good and thatīs why this is happening I am sure nothing is wrong with the phone.
