T-65 package with IR ? |

Was just thinking about something :
I've downloaded the software package for T-65, on the Sonyericsson site.
(the complete package with sync, phonebook-editor and so on).
And i'm using the T-68 and a laptop with IR-connection.
As far as I know, the T-65 uses cable and not IR-connection.

SO my question is : Will there be any problems in using this T-65 software with the T-68, WHEN connecting by IR ??????
..I'm thinking about the "connecting-part", itself.
Or dont you need any sort of driver for the IR ???? (other than the one already on the laptop/win ME).
(or is there already, in the T-65 package, a driver for IR ??)
Please help !!,..I'm not very much into drivers/the technical stuff itself, sorry

Well... I just tryed this out myself today, and it works! Even installs the drivers for T68, R520, T39 and the rest of the gang.
The computer (running win2k) even set up the modem for me after I had set up the software and then connected the phone via ir.
Pretty cool huh! 
Still, according to Wapster in a different post there is a special software packet on the way for T68... now the question is when will it be out? |

Actually i've just been writing to Ericsson about the different software-packages,...maybe they will tell me something about "a new one".
I'll get back to You, as soon as I hear from Ericsson,..should be tomorrow.

BUT : IF you want to use the T-68 as a modem, you have to download the T-68-modem-drivers.
