You can recieve and send e-mails with your Hotmail account using your mailbox.

Settings are:
incoming mail server: 195.137.042.007
outgoing smtp server: 195.137.042.007
port: 110
user name: your hotmail user name
password: your hotmail password

These settings are also works for Yahoo but NeoCore gateway sometimes doesn't work.

There is a way to check Hotmail from wap, instead of Pop3 you can try this
for now:

First you have to register from web. (http://www.anytimenow.com) When your
account is activated, on web site select options from top right corner of
the screen , select e-mail and then outside accounts. Enter your hotmail
user name and password. Then go to wap address
(http://www.anytimenow.com/wd) and you'll be able to check your Hotmail on
WAP.

hey guys i put the pop3 settings like u said .. for hotmail but when i connect through GPRS using my p900 its just gets stuck at connecting to 195.137.042.007 step .. after that it does not move ahead!!

anyone knows why??

also does anyone know that do i need to tick the Use SMTP authentication Box in the settings of the messaging accounts ...its after the outgoing sever address ....

also after that there is a othe rbox also sayin Use Inbox Details shall i check or uncheck that box???

then after that when u go to advance menu ... shall i tick the Secure Connection Box???
and whats the outgoing and incoming mail port ??? is it 110 for both??

then after that shall i tick the last box which says Secure password authentication???

Well plz do let me know of all these settings ...

Thankx ...

I'd be a bit skeptical about using that IP address to connect.

195.137.42.7 = i-195-137-34-7.freedom2surf.net

It's some kind of ADSL connection or something that's being used to run a server, therefore it's not direct to Hotmail and could be a scam to rob email addresses and passwords? Just a thought

Hi
I did on my P1i & works perfectly, but it downlaod all the mails in my hotmail inbox which is huge.. so my phone gets stuck & is very slow.
Is there any option that i will be getting only new mail on my moblie & it gets saved on the hotmail server ?

If i delete a mail on my phone does it get delted on the server also ?
