Hotmail POP3 settings! |

You can recieve and send e-mails with your Hotmail account using your mailbox.
Settings are:
incoming mail server: 195.137.042.007
outgoing smtp server: 195.137.042.007
port: 110
user name: your hotmail user name
password: your hotmail password
These settings are also works for Yahoo but NeoCore gateway sometimes doesn't work.
There is a way to check Hotmail from wap, instead of Pop3 you can try this
for now:
First you have to register from web. (http://www.anytimenow.com) When your
account is activated, on web site select options from top right corner of
the screen , select e-mail and then outside accounts. Enter your hotmail
user name and password. Then go to wap address
(http://www.anytimenow.com/wd) and you'll be able to check your Hotmail on
WAP.

I'm not sure why we need another topic for this but I tried it and it didn't work for me on the P800.
Indeed if I ping it it says destination host unreachable.
Are these the right numbers? Should they be the same for the incoming and outgoing.

Be wary - these IPs have nothing to do with MS.
Not to point fingers but this would be a nice way to gather hotmail ids....
So which esato member lives in Ilford and uses BT Broadband...

yeah just as well I didn't use my real password... I wanted to make sure it was genuine and looked like it was trying to connect to the right place.
I think I will push the (DELETE) button on that one!

or u can just goto www.hotmail.com on the P800's built in browser and check your emails that way???

Thats the contact details for the ISP (Freedom2Surf) of the person who is trying to capture people's Hotmail details, NOT anyone's personal details, which would be impossible to obtain from his IP address.
This is a useful first step in complaining about his nefarious activities. |
