Hi.
I bet many of you guys are going to service centers today to check if you can upgrade your T68. Please report your results here! Did you get the upgrade? New features? Comments? Faster T9? What's the status??? Tell and share your results here!

It has just turned the 4th here and guys keep me posted I hope when I wake up tomorrow morining I see all my euro t68 owners with the latest firmware

Itll certainly be interesting to see what has happened.. I still got to find a service centre near me, but looks like I might have to post the phone off to them.. not good as Ill be without my GOLD T68 for far tooooo long

Ok all you guys on Vodafone Livin in London..or england, If anyone gets there phone upgraded can u post your findings? How long it takes, what service centres are in operation etc..

Hi guys,
I live in UK and have called up SE UK technical support and Intec Cellular (Large well established distributor and repairer) in UK and they confirm no new release.
The guy from Intec said they get briefed a few days before the launch SE said they will release it in march and are waiting for vodafone, the 1rst UK network to release MMS so the new SW can be released instantly!
I challeneged the SE guy and he was quite pissed off with me - He asked me why I need an upgrade in a rude way and did not assist me in a humane manner! I think T68 owners have pissed SE SCs very much and they can't take any more callers asking for MMS LOL!!
Well i doubt its out today but definately in march - It is unofficially released but 100% ready, waiting for Vodafone UK's release. I also think that some parts of the world may receive MMS SW earlier as its more a network dependant launch....
Who knows.... Oh well i guess i wont be going to Intec today!

I just called my dealer (Ericsson Authorized one...), and the Lady at the phone was kinda, well, how do I say that. This way: I know she's really cute, but she definitely shouldn't work at such a shop... Well, she said they had the latest release, but she wasn't able to give any details about it... I'll check the store this evening, hoping they have it...
Oh, btw: The new Software seems to be R1A, but DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH THE ORIGINAL R1A! |

I called another. and thay said next weak.
They could not give me any Version name. |

Just talked to SE supportcenter in Sweden and they say that the software version with MMS is not out yet, and that they don't know when it is to be released but they HOPE that it will be released in March |

Just rang up ars electrics in london... Apparently they are downloading the latest firmware right now... Ill ring again later to find out what exactly the new version has

Any more news yet guys??
And wots the details of the SC in London? Its a little far from me, but im sure Ill have to go down there.. or find one closer to me..
