Hello

I may want to buy the brando screen protector, but I wonder about a few things:

 1) Becomes the screen a bit unsharp after you attached the protecion on the screen?

 2) Does the screen loose a bit of brightness?

 3) Does the Keyflip still work well?

 Thank you in advance

Cant answer this as I have never used one, but i have a brand new brando for sale that arrived this morning, i sent my p800 back today due to its short battery life, see auction at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29776&item=3014383361&rd=1

 cheers,

Had a brando protector for a few days now and i'm happy with it. If there is a reduction in brightness I can't say i've noticed it. but i've not taken it off to compare!

 The two main advantages are:-

 1. that you can stop worrying about scratching that lovely screen. Even treating it like a baby before I had the brando, I still got a few minor scratches on the original screen surface.

 2. fingerprints are not a problem on the brando like they are on the original surface. Not sure why. I was always cleaing the screen before as fingerprints always bugged me. The brando has a sheen about it which doesn't show up fingerprints at all!

 3. I can use it flip free - cool! The flip does work fine however with the brando - just tried it!

Yes a tiny bit it does look blurry to start with but you do get used to it and most decent screen protector will do exactly the same

 2) Does the screen loose a bit of brightness?
Again a tiny bit. However the brando does an excellent job of anti reflection.

 3) Does the Keyflip still work well? Yes the keypad works perfectly well i would recommend you re-calibrate the screen after you have put you screen procector on.

The brando are amazingly tough and pure pleasure to write on. The only word of warning is to take your time when putting the screen protector on for the first time and have some masking tape or scotch tape to had to get rid of and dust that get on the brando. You dont need to wash the dust off just use the tape (scotch or masking) on the sticky side of the brando to get rid of all the dust stuck to it.

You should ony wash the brando if you get ink marks on it.

I would recommend these screen protectors to anyone. and also recommend not to use your P800 until you have brought one, to minimise any scratches as the stylus is extremly sharp.

After reading some advice here a got some very fine wet & dry sand paper to take of the sharp corners of the pen. It is now a nice round shape, easier to write and no 'scratching' action.

I never used my P800 before putting on protection |
