What to choose? T68i OR T300 |

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. I'm trying to choose between T68i OR T300, but I am real confused. I like T68i features but most of all the availability of blue tooth. What I want is a reliable phone, with which I am easily reachable by my family and to browse internet with my laptop/Palm M515 via mobile phone.
Yet, I've been reading some real 'BAD/HORRIFYING' comments about T68i (reception, humidity-prone, slowness, hard to set up connectivity using IR & blue tooth to laptop/PDA).
On the other hand, I've been told that T300 can't work as a modem
(for me to browse internet with laptop/Palm).
Can anyone help me to decide (I mean at least letting me know whether the NEGATIVE comments on T68i / T300 are true) which is the one to choose?
Thanks |

Well if bluetooth is that important to you then it makes your decision somewhat simpler - the T300 doesn't have it!
Personally I don't think the T68i is particularly difficult to set up to use with a laptop or pda via IR/BT. No more difficult than any other phone anyway.
Of course the T610 could be with us within the next couple of months so it may be worth waiting for that? |

i recomend a t68i because they look kool and they have lots of features i think that the t68i had some manufacturing problems because i bought a t68i and the software is stuffed but i sent it 2 a se service centre and hopefully it is fixed but i havent got it back yet and it is only really good with the latest s/w version i might b wrong i dunno but i think the t68i is da best

in my opinion get a T68i it is far better and has more features, one thing it doesn't have is polyphonic ringtones though.

In my opinion, the best budget phone is the T300, comes free with a camera as well, and in some cases, the camera itself cost more than the phone and the camera cost together!
If you have a high budget, then don't hesitate on getting the P800...I'm low on budget myself, so I'm gonna wait until I get a job or summat. If I could I would get the P800.
The T68i is also considerable if you think the T300 is too bricky. People have mentioned this to me before. |

The T300 was the best free phone with camera when i got it 4 months ago. T68i was not being offered by T-Mobile USA at that time. Now both are free with contract. Only T300 comes with camera. Now I would buy t68i. Nicer look and feel. Don't find camera or polyphonic ring tones useful enough to offset the brick design.
Overall edge to t68i.

Well, for once im not gonna be biased even though ive gotta t300.
T68i - - - Business mans phone, comes equipped with modem cabibility and bluetooth, lacks polyphonic tones, downloadable games and free camera
t300 - - - Fashion phone, the cool square design is quite fashionable, it aint curvy with extra buttons and spaces and knobs, just plain in your face. its designed for enjoyment and entertainment, with gdownloadable games, poly ringtones etc.
So what do you want ya phone for? Work or play. Theres no point in paying for bluetooth if you aint gonna use it? Ive tryed the t310. its okay. p800 and t610n will rock the phone market, but if youre budget is lower then get a t300 and mp3 player for the price of a t68i phone, or get a T68i anything bluetooth that takes your fancy
daring isnt it?
cheers
