It is possible to change the time how long a time your messages are stored in the messagecenter he your phone is unreachable. Maybe that setting on your phone is only a few hours...?

Well that depends on two things: 1) The SMS sender may have sent an short expiry period for their SMS, or 2) Your SP has a short expiry period for unsent SMS |
