Hello all what a great forum here.
here is my problem.
I have been with AT&T for more than 4 years now. So far their service was excellent for me. I used to have an ericsson then a panasonic duramax and now this t68i.
I got the t68i cause its a triband and i do visit europe a lot so it would be easier to have a triband phone. I recently discovered that my phone is locked to work only with AT&T.Iam moving in Europe in 1 month ( seriously)and i called AT&T (611) many times during this past week to have my phone unlocked. here are the responses i got.: " what do you mean by saying you need to have it unlocked" , " you have to buy another phone in Europe" " we do not know of any codes nor we unlock gsm phones". When i asked them whats the point of a triband phone if you cant use it overseas they told me thats how we work. SO, how do i unlock this badboy? I see for sale on ebay logs and cables and software that claim that they can unlock it but do they really work? I am located in Maryland if anyone can help me please email me.
Second question. Whenever i sms someone in Europe my phone says message sent and then message delivered and of course im being charged. Funny thing the people who i sms in europe tell me we never received any sms from you. Whats going on here? any ideas?

ATT just really sucks. I hate to say it, I had them from August 2000 to March 2002 on TDMA and then from March to July 2002 on GSM. They refuse to work with you and will not unlocked the phone under any circumstances. They really screw you. You can get it unlocked elsewhere for about 25 USD. |

find some cellular accessories store and they will do the unlocking
all SE phones sold out~
