Man, i would seriously move to Japan just for the cool tech stuff they have! I love it! We are so behind over here... All this 3g stuff in the UK is crap. Woo hoo... 3G... in the states they already have W-CMDA networks up and running. Not widespread, but it's there. In the UK we seem to have relatively new technology, but nothing amazing. In the states the majority is pretty lame (please, no offence intended) but they have cutting edge technology being developed and implemented. Here we just wait...

lol daz...i know what you mean...but the thing is...the average consummer in the US....man very uneducated about mobile telecommunication. What's cheaper and works is what the average consummer wants there, which is probably the same everywhere else. but if you think about it this way: given the size of the US and its population, managing to get everyone on the bandwagon for W-CDMA is gonna take a while, heck a lot of people still don't use GSM (which is not the point), but in conlucion I think 3G in the UK will be up and running faster than its counterpart in the US. It's just a matter of "harassing" the providers of 3G network to bring over some of those great phones! gimme gimme gimme!
