I have recently upgraded to an alleged T68i. I was told the software in it would make it a 'T68i'. But it has the old R5D007. So im trying to get a new one with latest software.
Confused! Are they telling the truth or am I being pawned of with a basic T68???
Also its in that horrible Gold colour
Please Help |

So, what's the problem?? you don't have the latest SW on your upgraded t68....
Maybe they did't have a newer version when it got upgraded...

R5D007 is T68i software. mine is a T68 (gold colour like urs) upgraded to a T68i with R5D007. R5D007 is about 2-3 software versions old. |

um, R5D *is* t68i firmware, so you've got no complaint. sure, there are later versions, but they are refinements only- with no new features as far as i know. my t68m was upgraded with R5A, and it works just the same as my friend's "proper" t68i as far as i can tell.
oh, and the gold version is rare and quite highly sought after btw. i wouldn't mind one myself. |
