Someone please confirm that the P800 has the ability to use an external antennae, I have heard that with the P800 car kit this is possible? However I have the HCB-30 BT car kit would it still be possible to have the ability to use the external antennae?
Thank you

Is the proper holder the HCH-32? would I also need to purchase the assosiated cable?

The required antenna cable is included in the HCA-20 carkit salespack. Next to that you obviously need the HCH-32 car holder and HCC-20 system cable.

I don't believe you can use an exteranl antenna with the HCB-30, as it is designed to use the phone's own internal aerial.
Personally, I have to say that I have no need for one with mine.
The sound quality is fantastic, better than the handset on it's own at times. I know that sounds ridiculous and I can't explain it myself but it does.
Bluetooth isn't perfect but these carkits are the business. If only the chipset allowed seamless switching between more than one handset, I'd be an even happier bunny.

All you need is the HCH-32 Holder and the HCE-12 Antenna Cable. (BTW: All items are listed in the HCB-30s Manual) |
