1. They are all roughly the same size/mass as the p800 2. What services don't work?

I waited sufficiently long for the P800 that 3 had arrived (almost) on the scene and Vodafone still have not offered me the P800.

Given the amount I pay and the 3 plans, I'll gain more and get better technology with 3 so I have signed up along with the other half.

I'll save 50% on the handset and a further £100 for buying two at the same time so the handset cost is £150. That's not bad and the plan works for me in terms of on-going cost. SE will lose another customer, thanks to their poor effort in getting the p800 anywhere near the consumer in time.

I'd double check the details there count. The 50% discount is only applicable when signing up to the kit and caboodle tariffs. The double-up discount of £50 off each handset cannot be used in conjunction with the kit/caboodle 50% discount. You can use the double-up discount in conjunction with the "Twelve" discount of £100 though (and there are other benefits for doubling-up on twelve too). See the three website for details. There are now pdf's with lots of these details accessible from the "ask 3" section on the left hand side of the home page.

If you have been told that you could get the handsets for only £150 then I think you have been misinformed. The cheapest you can get them for is £200 (on kit/caboodle pre-order), then £250 (double-up on twelve), then £300 (with twelve), then £350 (double up on 3togo), then £400 for 3togo.

If I was signing up with 3 initially I would be inclined to go for the double-up on twelve coz it has lots of benefits besides the handset discount (e.g. reduced line rental, reduced video calls between the double-up accounts).

I am waiting until more handsets (like the Z1010) are released and 3 reveal their full internet access services (which won't be available initially).

HTH
