nice pictures, what camera did you use? On side by side comparison with a t68i, not bad at all,the screen's a killer. Gonna get me one when its available:)

Thanks for the great pics.
I really hope the P800 USA version has the gray color.
And the T610 looks just as small as the T68i. But what a screen! |

T610 rocks.
Damn that's a cool phone. I'm wondering how much it will cost.

hey...went to the ITshow 2003 Singapore on Sunday evening and saw the T610 there..( the blue one )...!!..Unfortunately, the logo at the back of the phone was missing due to thousands of people playing with the phone..there were also many fingerprint marks seen on the cover and screen.. especially the back cover..due to the way the cover was made .. .if its dirty..there will be marks ALL over it..Managed to play with it for about 15mins..*AWESOME PHONE!!!*...tested out the features and the camera..I compared the pic quality to that of the P800 displayed there as well..the t610 uses its whole screen as the viewfinder, unlike the p800..but there wasn't much of a difference between both cams...i checked the back of the phone behind the batt. and saw that it was a Prototype..had the imei no. there and i also saw what looked like 2 software versions there (i saw R1 something and R2A)...also tried discovering the t610 from the p800 and vice versa.(had to try twice before it was successful)..the staff there said that it doesn't work too well as its only a prototype..the size is about the same as the t68i, has a dedicated camera button & a (+) & (-) on the left of the phone for the phones status...there's also a shortcut button on the right side for phone settings (its kinda like the shorcut for the net settings)..dont know if that can be changed to a shortcut for like SMS/MMS..thre wasn't much of a difference in the picture quality as mentioned earlier but there was a visible difference in the color screens of both the t610 n p800..i lfound that the joystick was a big plus for one-handed use..left,right,up,down and pressing down for selecting (same as the t68)....the joystick was a tad too small and was too easy to press down, causing one to occasionally select the wrong thing..last but not least..Unlike the other enabled phones...the t610 DOES NOT have the blue light indicator thingy which flashes when is on..theres only an icon on the top of the screen..
And as announced last week in Singapore, the t610 will be released in MAY..And if its released is delayed..the latest will be at the end of June, according to the people at ..It will cost BELOW SGD$800 which converts to--> USD$455, £290 or 430 Euro
..hope i have been of help to those interested in the T610 ...

the menu speed is slightly slower than nokia's menu speed..i find that the t610's speed is still fast..and about loading games?..i only tried playing the Golf game for about a minute..so i cannot really judge..it takes abt 15-20 secs to load the game...and wot about Java??
YEAH...I WANNA ADD THAT SINCE THE ONE I TESTED WAS A PROTOTYPE..WE'LL SEE WHEN ITS ACTUALLY RELEASED..

Sad to say... being a mophun fan, I tried the DeepAbyss game in the T610. Man... it is really, really, slow... I mean, the start up is only half the story... When I finished level 1 and proceeding to level 2, it was the same slowness... Really hope it is only due to the prototype and not the actual.
But the 65k screen is really awesome. Low light capability is good. I mean, the cam previews well when I pointed it in all directions; and this is an indoor setting, mind you...
I love the joystick. More protrusive than my T300 but feel less fragile than the T68's. |
