Can you change the sms alert volume anywhere in the P800 ?
I have some cool sms alerts but they are to loud and worried they might damage speaker.

Wierd I don't have - phone>edit>pref>ring volume on my P800.
I have phone>edit>pref>Sounds and alerts, but by the looks of it only adjust the volume of the main ringtone not the sms alert. My sms alert sound is way too loud too and there doesn't seem a way to individually adjust the main ringtone and sms alert separately.
Is this a new firmware then? where you can adjust sms volume?

A very inconvienient way of doing it is to reduce the volume of the ringtone itself. Using a pc program of some sort. |
