Sure. I believe all Ericsson Service-Points have had the update for over a month now. But they're not allowed to give it out to public customers yet. This is what I think. The reason for this conclusion is that the software has been ready for many months, and all T68i's in production has it installed. |

I dont know but i have a feeling that it wont be out on Monday because Ericsson never announces the dates for there upgrades,they always surprise us |

Nop, we do not have it. The software release will be online one day. we do not know when, we are not informed. we got a information on it about 15 days after the release. There is just a auto update each time you flash the phone and you are online. It's automatic
All that I know is that will not be on Monday. They will get out the T68i and Get out the upgrade after and only after. We still have no reference for the T68i on the repair web site. The new models use to get out at least 15 days to 1 month after the release of the repair information ( for example we got all information on t66 since 20 days and the just launched it) and all the reference. So guys I do not want to make you sad but be patient, it will take times.

But I work for Ericsson in their 3G factory in Sweden, and there can it på updates on the boards without any new faultfinding info. And the T68i may be constructed as same as T68m right? Other design and another software? But the same schematics!
Just a tought, but I don t think it will be available on monday

Can anyone tell me if i will be able to get the new upgrade cos i do not have a receipt as i bought the phone on an auction. I do have the box and all its contents.

But doesnt your phone need to be under warrenty. Dont you need to prove this somehow

I believed that R1A SW, will not release for us consumers on Monday (week 10). Eventhough that SW is already available.
I called up the Ericsson Service point here in Philippines, according to the Customer representative I talked, R1A SW for t68 is already available, but they are still waiting for the right time for that software to be release, but she insists that is not yet on week 10.

Either it will be R2C or R3A. |

I will freak out, if they give us another upgrade with no extra features we are waiting for.... then i will immediately sell my t68... getting annoyed by this SE policy |
