Well anyone know how can we place the songs in the order that we want, other than formating the card and then putting in the songs one by one???
Thanx

We have the same sentiment....

I don't think there's any other way except for doing it one at a time. It might be different when you use a USB reader.

have the same problem here but what I do is that I label the song title with numbers in front use the arrange icons by function then drag everything onto the card. Another problem is that HPM 10 connection not so good just a slight bump the connection is lost do you have that problem?

I think the numbering should work... cause the player reads mp3's in alphabetical order [addsig]

For me numbering NOPE...was the first thing I tried...
Well for the connection the problem arises only when I have it in a tight jean pocket.
And another bad thing is that it doesn't support folders...It can be annoying when you have 128 MB cards and you have all the songs ungrouped...

Read my posting from last year about this. Numbering DOES work, but only if you select the topmost file when drag and dropping.

Numbering works. Use the select all function and drag the first file not from anywhere. It definitely works for me. Thanks crass that means that my T68i got connection problem.
But numbering do works try it again.

Numbering works for me. I haven't used my HPM-10 in a while - since I got my P800 but I remembering wondering about it when I first got the HPM-10 and numbering did the trick.

Actually, all you gotta do is select the topmost file. If you want you can put your songs in a folder in the order you want them to be. After that, select the topmost file and drag it to the destination drive.

hpm lists the order of songs in the order you copied it to the mmc. so copy in the order you want to listen to the songs. flash memory works in the order you copy!

hope this helps
