Better colordisplay in new software |

Some people say that we'll get better colordisplay and better colors when we get the new upgrade 4th March.
I would say that the display is hardware related, not software. But it could be, but this is my opinion.
If you go into the service menu, and check the software versions you've got. You can see that there are versions for your LCD display.
Mine says:
"LCD SW Versions
Test: 200109110
Current: 200109110"
After viewing this, it may be right that the display can get better by upgrading the software -- it sounds a little absurd and odd though. Who knows?
Do you have any other facts about this? Someone called Ericsson to ask? Any thoughts? Ideas? Comments? |

with old sw version the display looks a bit yellowish when looking straight at it, though if you look on it a bit from the right hand side it's perfectly white, on the pictures that I've seen on phones with the R1A software it's perfectly white when lookin right at it...
I hope that this problem is a sw-problem and that it will be fixed with the new update...
not that it's a big deal though, I hadn't even noticed it before I saw a post about it here in the forum
check this picture to see what I mean:

Wow, you're right. That's a huge difference, lets hope it's not hardware-related. |

let's not lose our heads about a yellowish tone in our display... like u said, u hadn't even noticed it before u saw that picture... so it can't be that bad, can it? |

No, it can't be that bad, you're right. But when I saw the pictures of the T68i I noticed that the dispaly was _A LOT_ clearer. |

Like someone wrote above,".if u look at the display from the right ėt`s more..."
I think that the color is different in the picture because of just that!
One phone is vieved slightly from the left and vice versa!?

Ok everybody, just calm down! We cant speculate on what is going to happen with the new software! Just wait 1 more day and all of our questions will be answered!

It might be that the colors are affected by the software. If you have a decent Monitor.. you know that you can specify the Color tempreture. Making the picture more yellowis of bluis(whiter).. =) |

Whiter and brighter... Any documentation on that? Think that is just something you hope it is... Many here states that their T9 is much faster after a upgrade... Well, how slow was it before the upgrade?!? My point is that many of us just think that thing gets improved, but often that is just in our heads and not the reality!

the T68 has a problem with displaying the color blue. It looks very grey compared to my laptop monitor.
