Just upgraded S55 firmware from 04 to 08 |

09 is available, but heard better reports on phone operation after FW upgraded to 08. Personally found little difference. Seems a little faster in operation and bluetooth works better too. Anyone else upgraded? What do ya think after upgrading?

Iīm on fw5 still. Waiting for swedish version 09. Only problem i have had so far is address book crashing once. No problem restoring from backup though.
Feels like i have found "my" phone now  Too bad the t68i didnīt evolve.. i liked it but the S55 leaves it choking in the dust..
And yes I know! The t610 probably buries the S55 performance-wise but i donīt care. Would never buy a phone that looks like a Zippo lighter with a crappy camera you canīt choose not to include in the purchase.

I love my S55, but would never part with my t68i. Its been a fantastic phone and still is. S55 is better, but then it is newer.

From Siemens developer village (or from "pirate" sites, wouldnīt recommend that though..)
You have to register to dl from developer village but i think itīs worth that little hassle.

Yeah best to get it from Siemens developer village. version 08 is on there, 09 is available, but not from developer village yet, only pirate sites.

Uhhh and my S55 is Broken too GRRR
Have any of you'z had this problem:
Screen Flickering
Switching off
The latest fault:
When Switching on it switches off again does it repeatedly!
Now taking back to shop today/Monday morning!
Get it fixed, or replacing...
