Why did SE removed this option from p800? (Which is I would say a very very useful option) why was it not given a fair justice |

maybe for security reasons, and besides it not good to record ur convo with the person ur talking to without his permission.

very true Lopio

I believe it is in fact illegal to record your conversation with all members knowing that it is being recorded.

However, the manual for the t68 states this and surely this would be enough to remove any blame from SE themselves? I don't see no other reason for removing this feature |

In sweden just one part must know the call is recorded. But it's good for busting two timers hi hi

In some coutries it's against the law to take a photo of a person, if the person doesn't agree to it. Still it has a camera.
So, that kinda scraps the security aspect. |

Recording a conversation, IMO is one of the most essential features a phone should have nowadayz.

Especially when your having to deal with the pleathora of Customer Service centres our world is moving towards. or to be more precise when said people at the other end don't know there arsehole from their earhole.

plz xcuz language, but for ne1 who's dealt with those kinda people you'll understand |

Even a single sided recording is useful.

I often need information to be saved from conversations. If I could record my side of the conversation, I would basically repeat the information (like phone numbers) as if I'm doing it to be verified by the other side. This way, I can later retrieve the information and write it down.

The only other alternative is to use a headset (or speakerphone mode) and write the information in Jotter. Slightly complicated |

its messed up that you can't even record conversations on the p800 like you can on the T68i! i find there's a lot lacking from the p800 which the t68i has, which really shouldn't have been an issue to begin with. i hope future software updates fixes these. |

I see the Nokia 7650 now has a free software update to record and play back movies so the camera is now a video camera !!!

Come on SE, get your finger out and sort out these gaping holes in functionality. |
