Guys, Make sure when you upgrade to the P800 and your plan includes Orange Care that you are still coverd!!

When I upgraded to the P800 I asked if my Orange care was still valid on my plan "Anytime 200" (£30/month)which included the insurance package when I took out the plan last year on my T68.......The answer from Orange was YES. This week I have been told that I must pay an additional £5/month because it's a "Smart Phone". I have complained to Orange but all they have said is go back to the Orange shop and complain that this was not explained to you.

Today I phoned the shop and it looks like I'm not covered but they have addmitted that this should have been explained but they were never notified by head office. I now need to wait until Monday so they can discuss with the local area manger, but said they will give me a £60 credit. They also said that they had 3 different answers form head office about excess on the P800, this might mean that if it's damaged you might be lible to the first £x I should have this confirmed next week.

Just making you all aware if you have any type of phone insurance is to ckeck if it covers the P800

Certainly not people with household contents insurance
from their mortgage lender. That's not to suggest people
should buy a house to cover their phone.
