Hi, I am an ATT wireless user.I have a t68i. I have had it with att gsm.I don't get service anywhere. I have move my phone into certain positions to get service.I am thinking of going back to my 8265 on Cingular. My calls are dropping all the time. Why is my service so bad. The map on ATT wireless says you will get service in all of Florida. Is it my phone or is it the service. I have heard that T68i doesn't get great service. Also when is the T610 coming out.Does it have good service

As I've heard the t68 is just about crap on 1900MHz.
If you do a search for it here, you'll find more and better info.

I get pretty good reception in Los Angeles, most of the time. I use a T68i with AT&T.

If you have had the phone for less than two weeks and you are unsatisfied with the call quality, you can return it for a full refund.

That's what I did with my Sprint-issued Samsung A500. Couldn't stand the phone, and the service was only so-so, so I returned it on day 14 without penalties. Later the same day, I got the T68i with AT&T and never looked back.

Coz ATT is too old for their GSM network. TDMA to GSM is a challenge for them. Cingular does better for providering US GSM1900 network. I am currently using Cingular and receives 3 - 5 bar anyway around Los Angeles and Santa Barbara area.

go with T-mobile. Without a doubt, they are the premier GSM carrier in the states. I had ATT too and dropped them. Ironically, I did pick up Cingular TDMA in Chicago. We are in the process of coverting to GSM. The new Cingular GSM is 850 and T68i won't work on that bandwidth. Go with T-Mobile for good quality in metropolitan areas to make use of all GSM phones for the Western hemisphere (predominatley 1900 mHz and 850 is just beginning)

T-mobile rents network spectrum from Cingular in California. What's the point to use t-mobile if cingular can provide the true real premium service.
