Some of the smilys on my T68 make my SMS beep after about 30 characters(can't write anymore). Like the smily is 100 characters by itself.
What is wrong, anyone know? |

The smiley DOES take up more space than a normal character, but it shouldn't be 100...
What could be the problem is that some of the other fellow forum members were discussing how with T9 switched ON they can only write 50 characters, but with it OFF, they can write the normal 160...
Maybe you have the same problem and using the smileys makes it worse

I tried without T9, and it's the same. I can write 56 characters + the smily. Without the smily I can write 160 characters..
It's not all the smilys, just 4 of them. I guess they are alomost like this...  ,  , |-O , [:#

synch: I have the same problem. Like if I'm replying to an SMS, and I would like to attach this smiley, I can only use 30-40 characters. All because of this single smiley, why?
Maybe it's a bug. The smileys should only take the space of 3 characters. I hope it'll be fixed in the new software. |

What is the SW version of your T68, mine is R2B, I've tried the smiley problems but cant seem to happen in my phone...
