Was at the Cebit yesterday and went straight to check sonyericssons new models. The 610 is an amazing replacement for the t68. I was personally never interested in the 800 (I want a phone, not a PDA). Since I own a 68, I found great new features especially concerning SMS. You have more languages available and YES, it has t9. It is also much faster than the previous software. For me 100 gr. seems to be the perfect compromise between features and size. The squareness of sony´s design is a beauty in this case; the phone looks sleek and very scandinavian, something you would expect from Bang&Olufsen. The screen is awesome and comparable to the Panasonic. I read the only weak link would be the resolution of the camera and its location, which makes easy to scratch. They are telling everyone it should be available Q2.
By the way, for all of you who go, make sure you save some time to flash your phone. They have a service point there, but allow at least 40 minutes. The place is crowded and each phone takes about 20 min. |
