Hi All

I'm on Orange UK and have got 300 inclusive minutes on my Tariff so I thought I could use 0845 numbers for free but you actually get charged for them. I think this should be publicised more but I just though I would inform you in case you didn't know because I found out due to a large bill. Basically I'm p***ed off about about it.

All the best

just to clarify - you don't mean use them for free, but you mean that 0845 numbers aren't included in your minutes.

This has been the case for a while now

Hi,

Local call and national call numbers (starting 08xxx) and special numbers such as those are usually charged extra for. There is always small print surrounding the free minutes you actually get.

NOTE, If you buy an o2 contract at CPW (in UK) 0845 no.s are part of your inclusive minutes, but NOT if you get a o2 contract at o2 shops or Phones4u ETC. (please check first as slowly all companies are swopping over to NOT including these non geographic codes in their inclusive minutes)

BTW,If your on an Orange contract with free 0800 number calls (all contracts but not prepay) you can get cheap calls to 0845/0870/0345 ETC by using a calling card company by first dialing the 0800 access number. one company to offer this is Telco on 08005941000.
