Hi,

I received my Jabra freespeak 2 days ago.

I had it charged for 2 hours before using.

I purchased the kind for non-BT phones, as I was sure I would receive it before getting my P800... The book that came with it was quite unclear about how to pair it with BT phones. It took a while before I figured out that I was supposed to turn it on WHILE the P800 was seeking new BT devices. It also took a couple of tries before I found the passcode (0000) to allow them to be paired.

I thought reception was quite good, as my audio was perfect. The people on the other side definitely did not think the same way.

I got complaints all the time about breakups in my voice - quiet spots (suddenly it sounds like the phone call was disconnected) and that my voice was hoarse.

I assumed it was because of my wireless mouse and 802.11b network I have at home.

However, I stepped outside my house and the effects were largely the same. I have my phone on my belt (inside the samsonite case) and people can't hear me. I have to hold the two units pretty close together to get good results.

Is it just me, or are others getting the same bad results from this product?!
