ok I just got a new P800 (previously I'd been using a pre-commercial release) and all is working except for one odd thing. On T-Mobile US when I get an SMS that is longer than 160 chars (like a full email sent to my phones email address and hitting the email to SMS gateway) I recieve them as an MMS with an attachment. The attachment being a text file of the message. On the new phone it is telling me that the MMS attachment is of an unknown type and the viewer wont display it. This worked b4 on the pre-commercial release (albiet earlier firmware revisions).
I installed all the extra viewer filters just to be sure.
Has anyone seen this before? This will be frustrating as a lot of my friends just email my phone directly using web email programs which like to add on text and thus break the 160 char limits of SMS.
Maybe Tmobile US configures their MMS server a bit odd, but this is what I have to work with.
