This is the way I get it working but there may be other better ways to do it (and probably is ).

You need to ensure the P800 PC suit connects to the P800 via bluetooth (ie. line icon & P800 icon show up in task bar)

Forget the internal browser & just work with opera for now.

Assuming your PC Bluetooth adaptor is set up correctly, then you need to ensure the P800 & PC have found each other.

Set the P800 in discoverable mode then get PC Bluetooth software to search for devices.
When the PC has found the P800, find the option on the PC that says create a bond.
You will then be asked to key in a unique PIN code for the P800 & PC (need to be the same).
Then get PC to do a device discovery on the P800 (should find a serial bluetooth connection or some already defined COM ports)

Have you got this far already? Let me know when/if you get this far.

This has been discussed on esato before.
Check this link for various configurations:

But it's worth remembering that the P800 bluetooth support is pretty cr*p. Serial port connection doesn't work for me, it won't last for any longer than 5 seconds. The dial-up networking connection works fine though.

Go to the Phone Connection Link in the task bar and double click on it. Then select the ports (should be Port 3, but this can be checked by looking at the properties of the P800 serial port in 'My bluetooth places) you want to program to search for the P800.

What kind of Bluetooth adapter do you use?

...and remember that the first units of commercial P800 has a Bluetooth problem. I´v read somewhere on Esato that this should be fixed in the latest firmware release (R1D?). Confirm anyone?

I've got the wavelinker dongle. It will work very well with the P800, but you'll have to install some different drivers. I use these:

There are other recommended drivers in the Technical forum. I haven't bothered to update, since those tecom ones work fine for me.
