I've been trying to get a gprs-internet connection to work but it seems I'm lacking a software cd which came(?) with the phone, so I don't have the proper software to make a connection. I did try sonyericsson.com but they only had software upgrades which required the the cd-version:
*You must have your phones CD version R1A available to be able to perform the upgrade. You find the revision number below the informationtext. You can insert your CD before the upgrade is started or when asked for it during the upgrade.*
Furthermore none of the mobilephone shops in my home town seem to have the CD.
So, I was wondering if someone on the forum
1) has the CD and could either send the communications software over DCC or email, if the files aren't too large, or upload them to some FTP/HTTP server.
2) knows a server that hosts these files.
I know it's much to ask but I wish someone could help me with this.
