Hey I managed to access the internet the first night I got my p800 by using the configuring service vodafone has but now it just dials up and doesn't do anything(wont let me access any content at all), but it seems connected.
Anyone else had this prob or are there any other settings I need?

What browser are you using? Opera? Standard P800 browser? the wireless one?

Do you mean WAP over GPRS or WAP over dialup? If it's wap over GPRS whats your APN / user / password? If it's dial up, who are you using? Can you get email on the account?

Sometimes the easiest way is to go to vizzavi / SE support site and get the auto config sms sent to you.. or even the voda live one.

I am using the p800's browser and using a wap dialup, the first night I got the phone I got sent the config. sms for the t68i from the vodafone website and I managed to get onto google and yahoo, but even then when I pressed any of the links on the web site nothing would happen and no images even loaded on the web sites I could get onto.
I just don't know why it only worked for 1 day...

Not for using dial up.

It may be worth asking them to give you the details for setting up a t68 as they would be very similar.

Are you sure you aren't trying to use WAP via GPRS? If so you can get these settings from the vizzavi website.

ring vodafone and ask for settings for 7650 since its more like a p800 then a t68i (ie useing OS)

but ask for the P800 settings first, because they are showing it on there site even though its not avalible from them yet

I have had the same problem. I called up Voda and they said that they would send me the setting. It turns out that they do not even have the correct setting for the P800 yet, instead they sent me setting for the T300, which does not work.

If you go to the sonyericsson website and click on the Configurators link. They will send you the setting that will work. That is what I have done, and now it works.....if it still does not work, tell me and I will manually write down the setting for u...but is SHOULD work....keep me posted
