S/E HCB30 vs. Parrot CK3000 |

Can someone list the advantages and disadvantages for both the S/E HCB30 and Parrot CK3000? I currently have the CK3000 in my car and I was pretty happy with it when I had my T68... but I have a P800 now and it will not work. I am debating buying an update cable for the CK3000 which may or may not fix the issues with the P800. The alternative is to buy an HCB30... any ideas?

If you buy the cable (www.mobiland.co.uk - £9) and upgrade to the latest version (2.41) then your hands free will work again but you must make calls via the phone (you can end calls via the button).
Apparently a new parrot version is due out any day now which cures a lot of these issues. |

My CK3000 is 2.41. My T68i is R3C. There is still no Wordspotting menu. To place AND end the calls, I have to press a button. |

I had a T68 and CK3000 v2.11 and it all worked!
Apparently the next parrot software fixes a few T68 issues. |

That was said when 2.40 was released, I remember -- "Wordspotting will be re-enabled in the next version". 2.41 came out, and no Wordspotting.
Actually, 2.41 comes with another, more hideous problem -- after I turn off the ignition, the control box forgets all the adjustments I make through Accessories | Parrot Menu | Params menu. Every time I turn on the ignition again and use CK3000, the volume is back at deafening 5/7 level. I confirmed that it's a 2.41 problem with another CK3000 owner. |
